Results
The project’s outputs and activities have been informed by the overriding objective of developing a more open inclusive labour market and fostering participation of people affected by ASD. In order to successfully achieve these objectives, the project will produce the following results:
  • Facilitate the exchange of good practices and information and promote their transferability;
  • Provide new research into the current challenges, strengths, weaknesses of professional inclusion of ASD people, bridging the gap between the target group and the labour market institutions;
  • Raise awareness of companies, labour market institutions, employment offices on the need of adapt recruiting systems to facilitate the professional inclusion of the target group;
  • Empowering employment officer, job counsellors and HR managers to better understand how to improve their governance structures, competences and institutional culture in reference to professional inclusion of people with ASD (identifying a list of competencies and skills that will help professionals to become an Inclusion Champion and be part of a change towards a more inclusive labour market);
  • Provide a freely accessible, permanent set of resources and tools for the continuous development of employment institutions, companies, HR managers;
  • Promote WBL action policies and the use of innovative recruiting methodologies – like gamification- to foster inclusivity of the recruiting processes.
Reaching the mentioned results will be possible thanks to the elaboration of 3 intellectual outputs (IOs), throughout 24 months duration of the project activities:
